The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks to support our fast-paced Finance & Accounting (F&A) department. This position is a full-time 6 months contract commencing November 2026 until April 2027 to back up our Accounts Payable team while they are working on our new ERP system implementation. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of key accounting concepts. This position will report directly to the Finance Operations Manager.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing \nEnsure compliance of corporate policy and procedures and accounting standards when processing Vendor and corporate card accounts payables submissions, and employee expense reports.\nProcess payment runs.\nPrepare entries for fixed asset capitalization and depreciation, intangible assets capitalization and amortization, prepayment amortization and other adjustment journal entries.\nAttend to vendor and internal clients’ inquiries in a professional manner.\nMaintain audit and tax schedules to assist in yearend audit and tax filings.\nOther responsibilities as required.\nWhat You’ll Bring\n3-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.\nPost-secondary training in accounting or finance is an asset.\nExperience in paperless Accounts Payable process is preferred.\nExperience in going through accounting process change.\nIntermediate skill in Excel.\nGood customer and communication skills – written and verbal.Excellent time management skills and attention to detail is a must.\nGood organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.\nAn analytical mind, good number sense and the ability to learn new accounting software quickly (Dynamics SL, SAP Concur)\nAbility to work independently and take initiative, and to function effectively without continuous direction.\nWhat Can We Offer You?\nThe wage range for this position is $24 - $31 per hour.
