Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, the community combines a high quality of life with strong economic opportunities driven by major industrial and infrastructure developments in the region. \nWhat You’ll Do \nConduct fieldwork, including materials testing, construction inspection, and data collection activities. \nPerform soil, concrete, and asphalt testing in accordance with applicable industry standards and project specifications. \nSupport civil engineering projects through site layout, surveying, quality assurance, and quality control activities. \nAssist with construction monitoring, documentation, and reporting. \nCollaborate with engineers, technologists, and project managers to support the successful delivery of projects. \nUtilize Civil 3D and other software applications for data entry, drafting, and technical support as required.\nWhat You’ll Bring \nDiploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline. \n1–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, materials testing, surveying, or a related field. \nRegistration or eligibility for registration with ASTTBC or an equivalent professional association. \nStrong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and a proactive, team-oriented work ethic. \nValid Class 5 driver's license with the ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required. \nExperience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and other civil engineering software.\nWhat Can We Offer You? \nThe salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications.
