Hike, fish, ski, golf, canoe, camp, mountain bike, sled, trail run or hunt- this region offers it all!\nThis role is designated as a safety sensitive position.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLiaising with both internal (McElhanney) and external Project Managers and clients\nManaging various survey project types including infrastructure, topographic, engineering and construction\nEstablish project scope, budget and schedule, and other project or client expectations\nPreparation of proposals, technical reports and documents.\nLeading survey crews on projects; communicating scope and scheduling information to crew members\nManaging project budgets and financial reporting\nManaging information flow from field to final deliverables\nInterpret Engineering plans for layout and quantities as well as quality assurance checks\nEnsuring quality assurance procedures are carried out for proposals, field returns, drawings, plans, documents, and other deliverables\nOther duties as required.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nDegree or technical diploma in Geomatics with at least 3 years of progressive experience in a survey project management role; experience in engineering and construction surveys is a strong asset\nExperience with AutoCAD, survey computation software and Trimble Business Center\nExperience with Civil 3D is an asset\nExperience with UAV (Drone) or Terrestrial Laser Scanners is an asset\nKnowledge of survey calculations, geodetic coordinate systems and map projections\nStrong communication, leadership, and motivational skills\nA motivating and engaging energy with demonstrated strength in leading highly complex groups\nAn excellent written and verbal communicator with interpersonal and relationship management skills.\nResults oriented individual, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines\nValid driver’s license\nWhat Can We Offer You?\nThe salary range for this position is $78,000- $110,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
