With over 50 years of combined experience, the team is committed to delivering superior parts with exceptional, old-fashioned customer service.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nThe Assemblies Technician is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and maintaining inventory of components and assemblies in accordance with engineering specifications, established quality standards, and applicable FAA requirements. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAssemble various aircraft components and products, including tire and wheel assemblies, brake systems, tail springs, and other mechanical assemblies.\nRead, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, technical specifications, work instructions, and applicable FAA requirements.\nUtilize hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and other equipment to accurately assemble components.\nPerform final inspections of completed assemblies to verify quality, accuracy, and compliance with established specifications.\nIdentify and report defective components, assembly discrepancies, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.\nMonitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records of completed assemblies, parts, and materials.\nAssist with organizing, stocking, and replenishing assembly components to support production needs.\nMaintain accurate production and inspection documentation as required.\nCollaborate with team members and other departments to meet production schedules and maintain workflow efficiency.\nFollow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality control requirements.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nParticipate in process improvements and ongoing training to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and technical skills.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nTwo years of previous work experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing or a related environment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical specifications, or willingness to learn.\nStrong attention to detail with a process-oriented approach to completing tasks accurately and consistently.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate inventory and production records.\nDependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.\nWillingness to learn new processes, accept feedback, and continually develop technical skills. \nAbility to stand and walk on concrete floors for up to ten hours per shift.\nAbility to perform repetitive assembly tasks requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail. \nWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nWe are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
