This individual will be responsible for developing the site teams, strengthening operational performance, and ensuring the organization is positioned to support long-term growth as part of the Victor Sierra Aviation platform under TransDigm ownership.\nSCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY\nServe as the senior on-site leader for the facility.\nDirect leadership of production, quality, planning, materials, engineering, maintenance, and facility operations.\nLead site supervisors, leaders, and functional leaders to achieve operational objectives and business priorities.\nDrive performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and employee engagement metrics.\nPartner with the Vice President of Operations on strategic planning, organizational development, capacity planning, and capital investment initiatives.\nFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nOperational Leadership\nLead daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing activities.\nEstablish operational priorities and allocate resources to meet customer and business requirements.\nMonitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve operational effectiveness.\nIdentify and remove barriers to performance through cross-functional collaboration and problem solving.\nSupport execution of strategic initiatives, capital projects, and operational improvement efforts.\nPeople Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop supervisors, leaders, and team members.\nDrive employee engagement, accountability, and leadership development throughout the organization.\nSupport talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.\nEnsure consistent application of company policies and performance management practices.\nQuality, Safety, and Compliance\nPromote a culture of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.\nEnsure adherence to company policies, quality systems, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.\nLead corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts to address operational and quality concerns.\nContinuous Improvement\nChampion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.\nUtilize data and key performance indicators to drive decision-making and operational improvements.\nLead efforts to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING\nBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.\nFive or more years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.\nExperience leading supervisors, leaders, and cross-functional teams.\nAerospace, aviation, industrial manufacturing, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.\nDemonstrated success driving operational performance and organizational improvement.\nStrong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.\nAbility to lead through influence, collaboration, and accountability.\nStrong operational decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.\nExperience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.\nAbility to analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable business results.\nProficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.\nJOIN THE VICTOR SIERRA TEAM\nAt Victor Sierra Aviation, you’ll be part of a team that’s shaping the future of aviation manufacturing and support.
