If you're the type who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, working with your hands, and learning new skills every day-this is the role for you.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLead and Support Daily Operations\nCoordinate production schedules to meet output goals efficiently.\nAnalyze work priorities and assign tasks to maximize productivity.\nMonitor workstations for cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.\nContribute to productivity metrics and priorities.\nTeam Leadership & Training\nMotivate team members by setting a strong example.\nProvide training, direction, and ongoing feedback.\nAssist with interviews and contribute to performance appraisal feedback.\nFabrication and Assembly\nLead assembly and fabrication processes.\nSupport additional product fabrication or kitting as needed.\nPerform in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality.\nCross Department Collaboration\nCommunicate effectively with sales, shipping, accounting, and engineering to support customer satisfaction and internal coordination.\nConsumables & Supplies Oversight\nMonitor, order, and manage expiration of consumables and supplies.\nTrain team members on storage, quality, and disposal processes.\nQuality and Safety Focus\nEnforce safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the team.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA hands-on leader who enjoys building, fixing, and motivating a team.\nA clear communicator who values precision, organization, and problem solving.\nSomeone with a passion for aviation and commitment to high-quality work.\nEffective time management skills\nWhat You Bring\nExperience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment.\nPrevious leadership or team lead experience preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret technical specifications or blueprints.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nWillingness to train others and promote a collaborative team environment.\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nTechnical training or certification in mechanical assembly a plus.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.\nManual dexterity and visual acuity required for detailed work.\nWhy McFarlane Aviation?\nAt McFarlane Aviation, you’re part of a team that takes pride in Making It Better.
