We also design and manufacture cargo pods that extend mission flexibility without sacrificing durability.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nThe Shop Technician supports the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality aviation products and components in a hands-on shop environment. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. You do not need to know everything about aviation to succeed in this role. If you enjoy building and working with your hands, and care about the quality of what you produce, we encourage you to apply.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperational Excellence Execution\nPerform assembly, fabrication, finishing, and other production-related tasks according to established procedures and specifications.\nUse hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.\nMeasure, fit, drill, trim, sand, fasten, and assemble components as required.\nRead and follow work instructions, drawings, specifications, and production documentation.\nInspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and proper fit and finish.\nIdentify and communicate quality concerns, material issues, or production problems.\nMaintain accurate production and job documentation as required.\nAssist with material preparation, inventory, packaging, shipping, or other shop activities as needed.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nProperly use and maintain tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment.\nFollow company safety procedures and quality standards.\nWork collaboratively with other production team members to meet quality and production goals.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support shop and business operations. \nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nPrevious manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, automotive, aviation, construction, or similar hands-on experience preferred.\nAbility to learn new tools, equipment, and processes.\nAbility to accurately follow verbal instructions.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nDependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nAbility to safely operate common hand and power tools.\nWillingness to learn and take on a variety of shop responsibilities. \nWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nThe ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.
