Cleans and washes floors, walls, furnishings, fixtures, etc. Changes linens. Washes blankets, towels, etc.\nMajor Duties and Responsibilities:\nMops, sweeps and washes staircases and floors. Strips, waxes and polishes floors.\nWashes walls and doors. Washes or cleans furnishings and fixtures such as interior and exterior window panes, partitions, window sills and swinging shutters, blinds, elevators, picture frames, extinguishers, etc. cleans refrigerators, freezers, counters, sinks, etc.\nCleans and washes washrooms; washes fixtures and accessories such as sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, garbage cans, etc. Unclogs sinks and toilets with appropriate products and plungers. Restocks hand soaps, hand towels, toilet paper, etc. As required, cleans, washes and wipes partitions in shower stalls.\nVacuums and shampoos carpets as required. Empties and cleans ashtrays; empties and periodically cleans waste paper baskets.\nPicks up debris, cleans and washes rooms that have been damaged. Cleans areas affected by water damage. Responsible for informing the Cleaning Service Coordinator of any irregularities or defects; takes measures to correct the situation. Ability to clearly transmit and receive instructions. Knowledge of French and English.
