To read more about the Morgan Arborteum's work, visit their website: https://www.mcgill.ca/morganarboretum/\nHiring Unit:\nMorgan Arboretum\nPosition Summary:\nAct as a resource person, coordinate projects and resolve issues arising during work shift.\nEnsure that instructions and protocols are followed, including safety measures and safety equipment. Supports and guides field operations team to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.\nParticipates in the management of invasive plants.\nCarries out and plans educational programs (i.e. guided tours).\nAssist in the service to members, visitors, and academic clientele.\nPatrols and monitors the trails at the Morgan Arboretum.\nPerforms landscaping, trail maintenance and ecological restoration which may require use of specialized equipment or vehicles.\nWork schedule: Must work weekends and holidays.\nOther Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities\nHigh School Diploma required.\nOther Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities\nCommunication skills\nBilingualism (English/French)\nAutonomous and resourcefulness\nStrong organization skills and attention to detail\nBefore applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.\nKnowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
