It will also provide a liaison function with other units and external organizations.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelop and oversee learning and cultural opportunities that complement and enhance the student academic experience outside of specific credit courses;\nDevelop and deliver workshops focused on conversation practice outside the classroom\nDesign and implement co-curricular learning activities and events, and initiatives that engage with French language and culture, and career readiness\nCreate resources that support these programs (eg workshop guides, activity materials, learning resources, orientation content, and supplementary academic support tools)\nDeliver and facilitate structured workshops (eg Jasette, French at Work Program) focused on oral communication, professional skills, and intercultural competencies\nMonitor student participation, engagement, and program outcomes to inform retention and student success activities\nConduct student outreach and provide individualized support and guidance to enhance engagement and persistence\nDevelop, implement, and assess initiatives that foster belonging, linguistic confidence, and sustained participation in French-language programming\nManage program activity registrations, reminders, and student communications\nPrepare detailed reports evaluating program effectiveness\nOversee recruitment and training of a team of Francophone language assistants\nPrepare job postings and interview candidates\nSupervise casual employees. Assign work. Provide ongoing guidance and support.
