Ask anyone who knows us - the caliber of our people sets us apart.\nINDUSTRIAL SCHEDULER\nThe Industrial Scheduler will primarily be responsible for maintaining schedules for Industrial construction projects. McGough uses critical path scheduling along with our Last Planner System to track and maintain progress.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nExperience in construction phase of project lifecycle\nExperience working as part of a design-build contractor\nSkilled at developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors, senior leaders, and project teams.\nExcellent communication skills\nPreferred:\n1+ years of Construction Industry experience, including industrial construction\nKnowledge with Lean construction practices, including pull planning\nExperience preparing project schedules using commercially available scheduling software\nProficiency in Primavera (P6) Software\nAACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or equivalent preferred\nGood written and oral skills\nSolid decision making\nOffice and Travel:\nFrequent travel to project sites nationwide. Hybrid work is acceptable while not traveling.\nResponsibilities and Tasks:\nUnderstand and implement accepted Planning & Scheduling best practices\nAnalyze drawings, specifications, and construction related documents in preparation and acceptance of usable Baseline schedules for construction\nMonitor project schedules being developed and updated by Operations staff and provide support and guidance as necessary\nInteract with the Operations team and represent McGough Construction in the best manner to owners, subcontractors, and their representatives\nUtilize analytics to identify and report on project trends and support with risk mitigation\nEffectively cost and manpower load schedules for use during the execution of the project\nPrepare Time Impact Analyses per recommended practices by commonly accepted standards\nAssist project teams to develop “what if” scenarios to explore alternate sequencing, document, mitigate or avoid schedule delays\nDevelop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6\nInteract with project teams to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules\nCoordination with non-construction processes i.e. submittals, design and permitting progress\nWork with our Last Planner team and project teams to gather weekly work plans from subcontractors and update weekly work plans\nParticipate in weekly subcontractor meetings on various projects\nEvaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas\nParticipate in Lean events and support of the McGough way\nResponsible for special projects and other departmental duties as necessary\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer.\nPlease note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future salary growth. Additionally, McGough offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
