Ask anyone who knows us - the caliber of our people sets us apart.\nINDUSTRIAL SUPERINTENDENT\nThe Superintendent is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all field operations on assigned construction projects. This role provides end-to-end leadership from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with McGough standards and values. The Superintendent leads field teams, partners closely with Project Management, and serves as a key representative to clients, trade partners, and inspectors.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n5-8 years of construction-related experience\nDemonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvement\nCurrent OSHA 30 certification\nPreferred\nTwo or four-year degree in construction related field\n5-8 years of field-related experience\nBilingual with the ability to communicate in both Spanish and English\nSkills\nStrong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills\nPositive attitude with a strong work ethic and solution-oriented mindset\nInnovative, forward-thinking approach to problem-solving\nHighly organized and detail-oriented\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines\nSelf-motivated and effective with minimal supervision\nProficient with construction technology and computer systems\nClear and professional verbal and written communication skills\nOFFICE AND TRAVEL\nMust be willing to travel regularly\nVarious jobsites and regional office\nResponsibilities and Tasks:\nManage all Pre-Construction related tasks including building crisis management plan, site logistics plan, site specific rules and regulations, and safety plan.\nManage and oversee all McGough field staff, subcontractors and suppliers engaged in assigned projects. This includes conducting daily huddles, job site coordination and delivery of materials.\nManage and implement the project schedule as designed and adjust as necessary. Work closely with Project Management team to ensure schedule remains updated.\nDevelop and manage weekly work plans and look-ahead schedules.\nWork with Project Management team as needed throughout project including selecting subcontractors, writing RFIs (requests for information), developing and tracking procurement of materials, tools and equipment.\nWork with Quality Control team to ensure project-specific requirements are met.\nEnsure all on-site documentation including drawings, logs, inspection books are updated and current.\nEnsure alignment of budget set for the project including labor, materials and equipment. Work with Project Management team to address issues as they arise.\nWork closely with Project Management team to ensure all project closeout tasks are completed. This includes punchlist execution, commissioning, final inspections, owner training, etc.\nProvide intentional leadership for project team in the areas of Lean methodologies being employed onsite, standard work and Pull-Plan sessions.\nDrive a safe environment by leading activities including job safety meetings and orientations. Ensure all OSHA and other required rules and regulations are met.\nBuild and maintain strong relationship with clients, design team and subcontractors.\nSupport and follow standard work.\nParticipate and support implementation of Lean and continuous improvement culture\nFoster strong partnerships with fellow McGough employees, subcontractors, owners and engineers.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit and frequently climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\n***\nIn alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience.
