Ask anyone who knows us - the caliber of our people sets us apart.\nVDC PROJECT MANAGER\nThe VDC Project Manager serves as a highly skilled technical expert responsible for developing and executing BIM Execution Plans across assigned projects. Success in this role is measured by technical execution and the ability to enhance project outcomes through advanced BIM and VDC integration with project teams. This position reflects McGough’s commitment to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement in project delivery.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or equivalent AEC industry experience.\n4-6 years of experience planning and executing BIM and VDC at the project level.\nAdvanced proficiency with BIM authoring software (Revit) and 3D coordination tools such as Revizto and Navisworks.\nExperience planning and executing laser scanning, including processing and creating deliverables from scan data.\nPreferred:\n6-8 years of experience planning and executing BIM and VDC at the project level.\nExperience setting up and managing projects in Revizto.\nPart 107 certification and experience leveraging drones and associated software to produce project deliverables.\nFamiliarity with 360 photo platforms and progress tracking best practices.\nExperience with 4D/5D modeling and animation (Fuzor, Synchro Pro, or similar).\nExperience developing virtual mockups and collaborating on their execution.\nProgramming experience using Dynamo, Python, or similar scripting languages.\nSkills:\nExperience mentoring and developing less experienced VDC professionals.\nDemonstrated VDC acumen with strong knowledge of construction delivery models, documentation, and sequencing.\nProven ability to train and support both VDC and non-VDC personnel in workflows, tools, and technology.\nStrong visualization skills-able to conceptualize and create accurate 2D, 3D, 4D, and 5D deliverables.\nCommitted to continuous learning, innovation, and the application of LEAN and VDC best practices.\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.\nStrong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nOffice and Travel:\nThis position supports McGough's National Travel - Advanced Technology business and may be assigned to projects throughout the United States with your desired location taken into consideration. This position requires that the individual be onsite full-time for the duration of the project near Bismark, ND.\nJob Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with internal project teams, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to develop and execute BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).\nEnsure project partner accountability is clearly communicated and aligns with the project schedule and BEP.\nDevelop 3D models for site logistics, 4D phase planning, and marketing or pursuit efforts.\nCreate 3D virtual mockups and manage coordination among design disciplines, subcontractors, and fabricators.\nLead and facilitate 3D coordination efforts on projects ranging from small to mega-scale.\nPromote the value and application of VDC technologies internally and externally.\nCreate 2D/3D/4D/5D deliverables using software such as Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Fuzor.\nSupport the VDC Director or project teams in defining VDC scope, schedules, and budgets.\nActively mentor and lead junior VDC personnel.\nUtilize BIM for visualization, constructability reviews, and project coordination.\nTrain project team members on the access and use of VDC and BIM deliverables.\nContribute lessons learned and feedback to improve company processes and VDC standards.\nAssist in managing and updating VDC content libraries and standard work documentation.\nOther Duties as assigned.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
