If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nAbout the Role\nMcKesson is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting and process improvement initiatives.\nThis internship provides an opportunity to apply your business, accounting and finance knowledge in a practical environment while building hands-on experience with Excel, financial data analysis, reporting and basic financial modelling.\nYou’ll work with financial and operational data, prepare insights for internal stakeholders and contribute to initiatives designed to improve and automate Finance processes.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport accounting and finance analysis through data collection, validation and reporting.\nBuild, organise and maintain Excel datasets used to support financial and operational decision-making.\nAssist with basic financial analysis, modelling and trend analysis.\nPrepare financial summaries, reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.\nContribute to Finance process improvement and automation initiatives.\nProvide ad hoc accounting and finance support as required.\nBasic Requirements\nCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s programme in Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience with Python or data analytics.\nStrong analytical and organisational skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to manage assigned work effectively.\nAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.\nTravel, In-Office & Physical Requirements\nNo specific travel, in-office or physical requirements were included in the original job description.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
