In this role, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate operational needs into actionable requirements, data insights, reporting solutions, and process improvements.\nYou will leverage service and operational data to identify trends, improve decision-making, enhance service performance, and drive measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise with experience in reporting, metrics, IT service management processes, and emerging AI technologies that accelerate insight generation and operational efficiency.\nWhat You'll Do\nPartner with business, operational, and technology teams to gather, document, and prioritize business and system requirements.\nAnalyze service, operational, incident, and performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement recommendations.\nDevelop and maintain operational dashboards, service reports, KPI reporting, SLA metrics, and governance deliverables.\nTranslate complex business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution recommendations.\nFacilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirements sessions to align business objectives and technology solutions.\nUse AI-enabled tools to analyze large datasets, accelerate reporting, generate insights, summarize operational trends, and improve decision-making.\nSupport incident reviews, root-cause analysis activities, service improvement initiatives, and operational governance processes.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with security, compliance, architectural, and business standards.\nBasic Requirements\n7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, IT Operations Analysis, Service Operations, or related fields.\nExperience gathering, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements.\nExperience with IT or operations business analysis, including service reporting, operational metrics, KPI development, and requirements gathering.\nExperience analyzing service performance, operational data, incident trends, and SLA metrics to drive business decisions.\nAbility to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and clear stakeholder requirements.\nStrong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and documentation skills.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nExperience working with cross-functional business and technology teams in complex enterprise environments.\nPreferred Skills / Experience\nExperience using AI tools to analyze data, create reports, generate insights, and improve operational decision-making.\nExperience using AI tools to draft service and incident reports, summarize incidents, automate routine reporting, prepare governance content, or accelerate root-cause analysis.\nKnowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) practices including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management.\nExperience with business process optimization, process automation, intelligent document processing, or operational excellence initiatives.\nExperience with predictive analytics, dashboarding, reporting platforms, and data visualization tools.\nFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies.\nExperience leading complex stakeholder discussions and influencing decision-making across multiple teams.\nHealthcare, supply chain, distribution, or regulated-industry experience is a plus.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
