This role serves as a subject matter expert for clinical applications, healthcare workflows, system integrations, and technology modernization initiatives. The position partners closely with clinicians, operational leaders, vendors, and technical teams to improve patient care delivery, operational efficiency, and user adoption through technology-enabled solutions.\nWhat You'll Do\nProvide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for clinical and operational healthcare applications.\n\nAnalyze clinical workflows, gather business requirements, and translate needs into scalable technology solutions.\n\nLead application implementation, upgrade, optimization, and enhancement initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, business leaders, and vendors to improve system performance and usability.\n\nCoordinate testing, validation, deployment, training, and go-live activities for new solutions.\n\nMonitor application health, data quality, and integration performance while troubleshooting complex issues.\n\nDrive continuous improvement, change management, and digital transformation efforts across healthcare operations.\n\nBasic Requirements\n5+ years of experience supporting, implementing, optimizing, or administering healthcare applications.\n\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nExperience supporting clinical applications, EHR/EMR platforms, laboratory systems, pharmacy systems, practice management systems, revenue cycle applications, or related healthcare technologies.\n\nExperience gathering business requirements and documenting current- and future-state clinical workflows.\n\nExperience troubleshooting and resolving complex application and system issues.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead moderately complex technology implementations or enhancement projects.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nOncology healthcare experience.\n\nExperience with Orchard Harvest, Epic, iKnowMed (iKM), or similar healthcare platforms.\n\nExperience leading system optimization, modernization, migration, or integration initiatives.\n\nKnowledge of ITIL, Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.\n\nExperience supporting revenue cycle workflows (IDX) and healthcare operations.\n\nExperience with change management, training, and user adoption programs.\n\nExperience participating in digital transformation and healthcare technology strategy initiatives.\n\nTravel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements\nPosition may require occasional travel for implementation, go-live, training, or stakeholder engagement activities.\n\nAbility to work in a hybrid or remote environment while effectively supporting distributed clinical and operational teams.\n\nAbility to remain stationary for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual meetings.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, clinicians, and business stakeholders.\n\nP3 Career-Level Expectations\nOperates independently with limited supervision.\nAppliesdeep knowledge within assigned application domains and serves as a subject matter resource.\nLeads moderately complex initiatives and project workstreams.\nInfluences decisions throughexpertise, analysis, and stakeholder relationships.\nIdentifies and implements process and service improvements.\nMentorsjunior analysts and support personnel through knowledge sharing and coaching.\nContributes to departmental standards, governance, reusable documentation, and best practices.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
