improvement.\nSupport hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and development of engineers.\nProvide coaching and constructive feedback to help team members grow.\nTechnical Leadership:\nContribute to system design and architecture discussions.\nGuide implementation of scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and React applications.\nParticipate in code reviews and technical design reviews.\nPromote engineering best practices around testing, code quality, observability, and maintainability.\nAssist with production issue investigation and resolution when required.\nRemain hands-on and contribute to technical problem-solving across the team.\nAI-First Engineering:\nPromote responsible adoption of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf.\nEncourage AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.\nEnsure AI-generated code is reviewed for quality, security, and maintainability.\nHelp the team leverage AI-enabled practices to improve engineering productivity.\nDelivery Excellence:\nSupport predictable delivery of features and platform enhancements.\nDrive adherence to CI/CD, automated testing, and release management practices.\nIdentify delivery risks and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.\nMaintain high standards for reliability, scalability, and security.\nRequirements:\n8-12 years of software engineering experience.\n1+ years of people leadership, team lead, or engineering management experience.\nTechnical Skills:\n8+ years of software engineering experience.\nStrong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.\nExperience building and supporting React-based applications.\nHands-on experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture (Kafka or equivalent).\nExperience with SQL databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.\nStrong troubleshooting and production support skills.\nExperience working in cloud-native environments.\nLeadership Skills:\n1+ years of supervisory, team lead, technical lead, or people management experience.\nExperience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives or feature delivery.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.\nStrong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.\nExperience working with globally distributed teams is preferred.\nAI-First Expectations:\nPractical experience using AI coding assistants within the software development lifecycle.\nAbility to review and validate AI-generated code.\nStrong understanding of software quality, security, and engineering best practices.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHealthcare technology experience.\nKnowledge of FHIR, HL7 C-CDA, HIPAA, and PHI/PII compliance.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Databricks, Elasticsearch, or Redis.\nExperience supporting modern cloud-based application
