collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nSupport hiring, onboarding, coaching, and career development of engineers.\nProvide timely feedback and performance guidance.\n\nTechnical Leadership: \nContribute to system design and architecture discussions.\nGuide implementation of scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and React-based applications.\nParticipate in code reviews and technical design reviews.\nDrive engineering best practices around testing, code quality, observability, and maintainability.\nSupport production issue investigation and resolution when required.\n\nAI-First Engineering: \nPromote responsible adoption of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf.\nEncourage AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.\nEnsure AI-generated code is reviewed for correctness, security, and maintainability.\nHelp teams improve productivity through effective AI-enabled engineering practices.\n\nDelivery Excellence: \nEnsure predictable delivery of features and platform enhancements.\nDrive adherence to CI/CD, automated testing, and release management processes.\nMonitor delivery risks and proactively address execution challenges.\nMaintain high standards for reliability, scalability, and security.\n\nRequirements: \n8+ years of software engineering experience.\nStrong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.\nExperience building and supporting React-based applications.\nHands-on experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture (Kafka or equivalent).\nExperience with SQL databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.\nStrong troubleshooting and production support skills.\n\nLeadership Skills: \n1+ years of people management, team leadership, or technical leadership experience.\nExperience mentoring engineers and leading feature teams.\nProven ability to deliver complex projects in Agile environments.\nExperience collaborating with globally distributed teams.\n\nAI-First Expectations: \nPractical experience using AI coding assistants within the software development lifecycle.\nAbility to validate and govern AI-generated code.\nStrong understanding of software quality, security, and engineering best practices.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nHealthcare technology experience.\nKnowledge of FHIR, HL7, C-CDA, HIPAA, PHI/PII compliance.\nExperience
