If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nAbout the Role\nAre you an engineering student looking to gain hands-on experience in continuous improvement, process optimisation and project management within a fast-paced operational environment?\nAs a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern, you will support improvement initiatives within our Pharma Distribution operations. Working with cross-functional teams, you will analyse processes, identify opportunities for improvement and use data and engineering principles to develop practical solutions.\nThis internship provides an opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge in a real-world environment while developing valuable experience in process improvement, data analysis, problem-solving and project management.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAnalyse operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and performance.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nApply engineering principles and analytical methods to investigate and solve operational challenges.\nAnalyse data to measure process performance and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.\nSupport project management activities, including maintaining timelines, tracking progress and identifying potential risks.\nPrepare and maintain project documentation, reports and process documentation.\nCommunicate project updates, findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.\nResearch tools, technologies and methodologies that could improve operational efficiency.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to established safety and quality standards.\nBasic Requirements\nCurrently pursuing a university degree in Engineering.\nExperience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including formulas, pivot tables or basic dashboards.\nExperience using Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare business, academic or project presentations.\nExperience using Microsoft Word to prepare reports, project documentation or other written materials.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple tasks, deadlines or priorities through academic, work, volunteer or extracurricular activities.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nInterest in continuous improvement, process optimisation, Lean methodologies or operational excellence.\nExperience analysing data and translating findings into recommendations.\nExposure to project management or process improvement through academic projects, internships, co-op placements or previous work experience.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to take initiative and work effectively both independently and within a team.\nInterest in working within a distribution, supply chain, healthcare or operations environment.\nTravel, In-Office & Physical Requirements\nNo specific travel, in-office or physical requirements were provided for this position.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
