If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nWe are seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our state-of-the-art 280,000-square-foot distribution center in SoCal, California. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure and automated distribution equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys solving complex equipment issues and mentoring others.\nSchedule: Full-Time, Sunday-Thursday, 7:00PM-3:30AM. Subject to change based on business needs.\nWhat You'll Do (Responsibilities)\nPerform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades on facility infrastructure, conveyors, automated material handling equipment, and warehouse automation systems to ensure operational uptime.\nDiagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues using technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.\nSupport and maintain critical facility systems, including motors, drives, compressors, power distribution equipment, printers, strappers, and PLC-controlled technologies.\nPartner with operations, IT teams, vendors, and contractors to complete maintenance projects, improve equipment reliability, and minimize disruptions to business operations.\nPromote a safe work environment by following OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures while providing technical guidance, training, and support to maintenance team members.\nBasic Requirements\nTypically requires 3+ years of related experience.\nExperience troubleshooting electrical and electromechanical systems.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams\nExperience working with conveyors, automated equipment, motors, drives, compressors, or material handling systems.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.\nAbility to safely use maintenance tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nAssociate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, HVAC, or equivalent experience\nExperience troubleshooting PLCs, AC/DC drives, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, transformers, and power distribution systems.\nKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).\nExperience with automated warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing equipment.\nExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order systems.\nPrevious experience coordinating vendors and contractors.\nAbility to lead, mentor, and train other maintenance team members.\nStrong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nPhysical Requirements\nFull-time position working onsite in a distribution center environment.\nMust be flexible to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and on-call assignments as business needs require.\nFrequently required to walk, stand, bend, climb ladders, and work around industrial equipment.\nAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.\nMay work at heights and around electrical, mechanical, and automated systems while following established safety procedures.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
