If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nThe McKesson Finance Leadership Program (FLP) is a two-year rotational development program designed to attract, develop, and retain high-potential Finance talent with the capability and aspiration to become future leaders within McKesson.\nFLP Associates complete four six-month rotations across Corporate Finance, business-unit Finance, and other strategic Finance functions. Through these experiences, Associates build broad enterprise perspective, strengthen technical and leadership capabilities, develop business acumen, and gain exposure to diverse teams, leaders, and business challenges across McKesson.\nIn addition to rotational assignments, FLP Associates participate in structured development programming, coaching, networking, executive exposure, and other experiences designed to accelerate their growth as Finance professionals and leaders.\nRotational assignments are based on business needs and individual development opportunities and may include areas such as FP&A, Controllership, Internal Audit, Customer Finance, Strategy, Transformation, and other Corporate or business-unit Finance functions.\nFLP Associates may be responsible for:\nPartnering with Finance and business leaders to analyze performance, identify trends, and provide insights that support business decisions\nDeveloping financial models, forecasts, dashboards, reporting, and other decision-support tools\nSupporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance-management activities\nTranslating financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders\nLeading projects or workstreams and managing deliverables, timelines, stakeholders, and cross-functional coordination\nEvaluating current processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, controls, transparency, or business outcomes\nSupporting the development and implementation of new Finance processes, systems, reporting tools, automation, or digital capabilities\nBuilding relationships across Finance and the broader business to understand stakeholder needs and strengthen business partnership\nPreparing and delivering analyses, recommendations, and presentations to Finance and business leaders\nApplying sound judgment, curiosity, and problem-solving skills to ambiguous or evolving business challenges\nTaking ownership of individual development by actively seeking feedback, building relationships, and pursuing experiences that strengthen leadership and Finance capabilities\nContributing to the day-to-day priorities and strategic objectives of each rotational team\nProgram Experience\nFLP Associates will have opportunities to:\nComplete four diverse six-month Finance rotations\nGain exposure to multiple areas of McKesson and its Finance organization\nWork directly with Finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders\nParticipate in structured leadership and professional development\nReceive ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support\nBuild relationships with FLP peers, alumni, mentors, and senior leaders\nDevelop technical, business, and leadership capabilities through meaningful work assignments\nBuild a broad foundation for long-term career opportunities within McKesson Finance\nMinimum Requirements\nStrong financial and business acumen\nRecent MBA graduate with a concentration or focus in Finance or a related discipline\nDemonstrated leadership experience\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities\nExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills\nAbility to build relationships and work effectively across teams and organizational levels\nDemonstrated initiative, learning agility, and ability to operate in changing or ambiguous environments\nMust be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position\nPreferred Knowledge & Skills\nCandidates should demonstrate:\nPreferred 2+ years of prior experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or another analytical field\nStrategic and analytical thinking\nSound judgment and ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment\nCuriosity and willingness to learn new businesses, functions, and areas of Finance\nAbility to influence and collaborate across functions without direct authority\nCommitment to continuous improvement and use of data, technology, and digital tools to improve Finance outcomes\nExecutive-level communication and presentation skills\nCommitment to integrity, accountability, and McKesson’s values\nInterest in building a long-term career within McKesson Finance\nPhysical Requirements\nGeneral Office Demands\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
