If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nAbout the Role\nThe Senior Inventory Control Associate supports inventory accuracy and product integrity within our Edmonton distribution centre. Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, you will conduct inventory counts, review adjustments, investigate variances and maintain accurate records in accordance with established procedures.\nThis hands-on role is well suited to someone with warehouse or distribution experience who is comfortable investigating discrepancies, working with computerised systems and completing physical inventory activities.\nWhat You’ll Do\nInvestigate, resolve and document inventory shortages, overages, damages and receiving discrepancies.\nReview and validate inventory adjustments, reconciliations and supporting documentation.\nCoordinate physical inventories and conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.\nProcess vendor overstock returns and prepare products for shipment.\nVerify recalled inventory, remove affected products and complete required recall documentation.\nPost recall notices and periodically check warehouse locations to remove outdated notices.\nMonitor product expiration dates, maintain reports and confirm disposition instructions with the appropriate stakeholders.\nRemove potentially compromised products from inventory and place them in a secure quarantine area for assessment.\nMaintain accurate inventory records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices and applicable standard operating procedures.\nManage stock movement based on product size, weight and sales velocity.\nReport rack or distribution centre layout changes to the Logistics team.\nMaintain a safe, organised and clean work area and follow all health and safety requirements.\nBasic Requirements\nExperience using computers or automated warehouse systems.\nBasic reading and mathematical skills.\nAbility to work various shifts.\nAbility to obtain a clear Canadian Police Information Centre check.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent.\nExperience in a distribution centre, warehouse or manufacturing environment.\nOne to two years of experience using a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other powered industrial equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to investigate issues, follow established procedures and identify process improvements.\nCollaborative and service-focused approach.\nDependability, punctuality and adaptability.\nTravel, In-Office & Physical Requirements\nThis is an on-site position based in the Edmonton distribution centre.\nAbility to lift or move up to 40 pounds independently and heavier items through team lifting.\nAbility to lift, carry, bend, stretch and stand for extended periods.\nWillingness and ability to work various shifts.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
