This role serves as a technical leader responsible for designing scalable business intelligence solutions, developing analytics platforms, and translating complex business challenges into actionable insights.\nThe ideal candidate combines expertise in business intelligence, data architecture, analytics engineering, and stakeholder engagement to deliver innovative reporting, dashboarding, and self-service analytics solutions. This individual will also mentor analytics professionals, champion data governance, and help shape enterprise analytics best practices.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead development and optimization of enterprise business intelligence solutions, analytics platforms, dashboards, and reporting ecosystems.\nDesign and maintain scalable data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, semantic layers, and reporting architectures to support enterprise analytics.\nPartner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives and business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.\nDevelop interactive dashboards, scorecards, KPI frameworks, and executive reporting using leading BI technologies.\nEstablish and drive data governance standards, metadata management practices, and data quality assurance processes.\nMentor analysts and analytics professionals on data visualization, dashboard design, storytelling techniques, and BI best practices.\nLead cross-functional analytics initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies to improve reporting, automation, and insight generation.\nPromote data literacy and self-service analytics capabilities throughout the organization.\nBasic Requirements\n10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, reporting, or related data and analytics disciplines.\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nExperience developing enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar business intelligence platforms.\nHands-on experience designing data models, ETL/ELT processes, reporting solutions, and data integration workflows.\nAdvanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and cloud-based data platforms.\nExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.\nDemonstrated experience leading complex analytics initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.\nStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nMaster's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. •Experience with data governance, master data management, data quality, or enterprise data management programs.\nKnowledge of predictive analytics, machine learning, AI-enabled analytics, or advanced statistical modeling.\nExperience supporting highly regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, financial services, or similar environments.\nFamiliarity with Agile delivery methodologies and product-centric analytics organizations.\nExperience building self-service analytics capabilities and enterprise reporting frameworks.\nProven success coaching, mentoring, or developing analytics professionals.\nTravel, Work Environment & Physical Requirements\nLocation requirements and hybrid/in-office expectations to be determined based on business needs.\nOccasional travel may be required for business meetings, team collaboration, or organizational initiatives.\nAbility to work in a standard office or remote work environment and perform customary computer-based work activities.\nAt McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
