This role will lead the development and implementation of advanced analytical models and ML solutions to optimize pricing strategies and ensure robust, scalable, and efficient deployment of these models within our operational frameworks.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and improve predictive and machine-learning models\nLead advanced analytics initiatives across customer, product, pricing, and commercial domains\nMonitor production models for accuracy, reliability, and data quality\nTroubleshoot model and data issues across analytical workflows\nEstablish model validation, testing, monitoring, and governance standards\nTranslate analytical findings into clear business recommendations\nPartner with engineering teams to operationalize models and analytical solutions\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to other data scientists\nSupport development of optimization, forecasting, recommendation, and AI-driven decisioning capabilities\nRequired Skills\n7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or a related quantitative field\nStrong Python and SQL skills\nStrong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, regression, clustering, and predictive analytics\nExperience deploying and supporting models in production environments\nExperience working with large-scale datasets and cloud-based analytical platforms\nStrong understanding of data pipelines, model inputs/outputs, and data-quality validation\nExperience with model monitoring, lifecycle management, and explainability\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical work and collaborate across business and technology teams\nEducation\nMaster’s degree preferred in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline\nBachelor’s degree required in a quantitative or technical field with substantial relevant experience\nPhD in a quantitative discipline is a plus, but not required\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in pricing, revenue management, forecasting, optimization, or commercial analytics\nExperience with recommendation systems, segmentation, or predictive modeling\nExperience with MLOps and production model deployment\nFamiliarity with Generative AI and modern AI-assisted analytical solutions\nExperience supporting business-critical analytical applications\nPrior experience mentoring or leading other data scientists\nExperience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.\nAbout MMS\nMcKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation.
