If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nPosition Summary (Purpose of job):\nThe Lead Technical Product Manager - Level 5 plays a strategic leadership role in defining and governing McKesson’s platform vision, strategy, and roadmap to enable secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions. This position is to define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and adoption of our enterprise AI platforms. This role combines product management, platform strategy, and technical leadership to accelerate the delivery of machine learning, generative AI, and agent-based solutions across the organization.\nYou will own the evolution of a unified AI platform built on Azure Machine Learning and Azure AI Foundry, enabling data scientists, engineers, and business teams to rapidly build, deploy, govern, and scale AI solutions. Working across platform engineering, security, architecture, data science, and business stakeholders, you will translate emerging AI trends and business needs into prioritized platform capabilities that deliver measurable value.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for a unified AI platform converging MLOps, Generative AI, and Agentic AI capabilities. \nTranslate emerging AI technologies, model advancements, and business demand into prioritized platform investments and delivery plans. \nDrive developer experience as a product, creating self-service experiences, golden paths, reusable templates, SDKs, APIs, and onboarding journeys. \nDefine platform success metrics including adoption, platform reliability, time-to-first-model, developer productivity, and business outcomes. \nPartner with data science, engineering, security, architecture, compliance, and business leaders to align platform capabilities with enterprise priorities. \nGuide product decisions across the AI lifecycle, including model development, evaluation, deployment, governance, monitoring, optimization, and cost management. \nDrive platform governance, responsible AI practices, compliance requirements, and operational excellence. \nInfluence strategic technology partnerships and help evaluate emerging AI and cloud platform capabilities. \nMinimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):\n10+ years of experience in Product Management, Platform Product Management, AI/ML Platforms, Cloud Platforms, or related technology leadership roles. \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. \nExperience defining and executing product strategy, roadmaps, and platform investment priorities. \nExperience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Foundry, MLOps platforms, or comparable cloud AI ecosystems. \nProven experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving product, engineering, data science, security, and business stakeholders. \nUnderstanding of the AI lifecycle, including model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, governance, and optimization. \nExperience measuring platform adoption through product metrics and customer outcomes. \nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills. \nBusiness Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree preferred.\nTypically requires 10+ more years of relevant professional experience, including leadership in product strategy and enterprise technology delivery.
