You will partner with engineering, product, architecture, security, and business teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing digital products that enhance customer experiences and accelerate innovation.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions across customer experience and digital platform ecosystems.\nDrive API-first, microservices-based, and cloud-native engineering practices using modern technologies and platforms.\nDesign and evolve Customer Data Platform (CDP) capabilities supporting customer insights, transaction analysis, behavioral analytics, and personalization.\nBuild scalable applications using Java, .NET, Node.js, React, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nLead development of event-driven and composable architectures leveraging Azure and/or AWS cloud services.\nEstablish engineering excellence through CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, reliability engineering, and performance optimization.\nChampion AI-assisted development, automation tools, machine learning solutions, and intelligent search capabilities.\nMentor engineers, influence technical strategy, and drive adoption of enterprise engineering standards and best practices.\nBasic Requirements\n10+ years of professional software engineering experience with enterprise-scale application development and architecture leadership.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.\nExperience developing enterprise applications using Java, .NET, Node.js, or similar enterprise platforms.\nExperience building modern front-end applications using React, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.\nHands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices architectures.\nExperience delivering cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or comparable cloud platforms.\nExperience with Kubernetes, containerization technologies, and modern deployment practices.\nExperience with Git-based source control platforms including GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience designing and implementing Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and customer intelligence solutions.\nExperience with customer analytics, behavioral analysis, transaction data processing, and personalization platforms.\nExpertise in event-driven architecture, messaging platforms, and distributed systems design.\nExperience with AI, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions.\nExperience building enterprise search, recommendation, analytics, or decision-support platforms.\nExperience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.\nAdvanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, observability, and site reliability engineering.\nExperience leading large-scale modernization, digital transformation, and performance engineering initiatives.\nAt McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
