In this role, you will connect business strategy to People Analytics by shaping demand, framing the right business questions with stakeholders, prioritizing the highest-impact work, and delivering decision-ready analyses that guide action and enable outcomes related to business performance, organizational health, and growth. You will apply a wide range of analytical tools and techniques to create data-driven narratives and presentations, supporting programs, events, and leadership forums. You will track external workforce and industry trends, compare them to internal data, and communicate relevant findings to stakeholders to guide strategic decisions and enhance organizational agility. As employees, we come together guided by our Leadership Prescription-the combination of our I²CARE values (Integrity, Inclusion, Customer-First, and Accountability) and our LEADRx leadership behaviors-to create a culture of inclusion, care, and belonging where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nDefine and execute the strategic direction for people analytics across McKesson’s businesses and enterprise-wide functions, ensuring alignment to business priorities and people outcomes. \nServe as the strategic analytics partner to HR Senior Vice President and their leadership team; translate complex people data into actionable insights that drive C-suite and leadership-level decisions. \nDetermine appropriate analytical and statistical techniques to address business and research questions, execute analyses, and interpret results with actionable recommendations for a variety of stakeholders. \nLead the evolution of the People Analytics delivery model, enabling the shift from reactive reporting to proactive, AI-infused decision support, including self-service analytics and predictive intelligence. \nApply McKesson’s LEADRx leadership behaviors to grow team capability, prioritize high-impact work, and build a culture of rigor and innovation. \nAct as a trusted advisor on HR data governance, privacy, and ethical use, modeling the highest standards of compliance and stewardship. You’ll remain consistently aware of changes in data privacy and exemplify and enforce team standards related to bias, privacy, and responsible use of AI. \nEmbrace the use of and contribute to continuous improvement of the latest innovative data solutions and analytical tools enabling analytics and advisory work as customer zero. \nThis role follows a hybrid work model for candidates within commuting distance of McKesson’s Irving, TX headquarters, with an expectation of 3 days per month in office.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related field \nMinimum 10 years of related work experience to include 6 + years in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis5+ years of people analytics experience. \nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related field preferred\n4+ years People Analytics Experience \nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
