If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nMaintenance Technician - Automation & Controls\nWe’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our highly automated Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy facility. You’ll help maintain and troubleshoot pharmacy automation, robotics, conveyors, electrical and mechanical equipment, PLC-controlled systems, and computer/network components.\nIf you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands, and learning different technologies, this is an opportunity to build your technical skills while supporting automation that helps patients receive their medications accurately and on time.\nSchedule: Tuesday-Friday, 5:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and Saturday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPerform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operational upkeep of automated pharmacy and facility equipment.\nTroubleshoot electrical systems, including 480/460V, 220V, 120V AC and 24V DC circuits, motor starters, power distribution, and control circuits.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics and use voltage and current measurements to troubleshoot equipment.\nAssist with PLC troubleshooting, including ladder logic and uploading/downloading PLC programs.\nTroubleshoot control devices including photo eyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicator lights, and safety switches.\nPerform mechanical maintenance, including aligning bearings, shafts, and drives; adjusting belts and chains; replacing worn components; and maintaining pneumatic systems.\nComplete preventive maintenance, including equipment inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and component replacement.\nTroubleshoot Windows-based computers, Ethernet connections, cabling, I/O devices, and equipment-related computer systems.\nSupport light electrical, construction, and facility improvement projects.\nCoordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for equipment and facility repairs.\nIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, quality, and operational efficiency.\nBasic Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n1+ year of industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, automation, electromechanical, or related technical experience.\nExperience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.\nExperience reading and interpreting electrical schematics.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience with automated equipment, robotics, conveyors, material handling systems, or pharmacy automation.\nKnowledge of PLCs and ladder logic.\nExperience troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, sensors, and control circuits.\nMechanical experience with bearings, shafts, drives, belts, chains, and pneumatic systems.\nExperience with preventive maintenance programs.\nFamiliarity with Windows, Ethernet networks, I/O devices, and RS232/RS422 communications.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly automated production environment.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nOn-site position in a regulated production/warehouse environment.\nRequires standing, bending, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift.\nMust be able to safely perform the physical activities necessary to maintain and repair facility and automation equipment.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
