If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nFacilities Maintenance Supervisor\nAbout the Role\nMcKesson is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance and facilities operations within our highly automated pharmaceutical distribution center in Santa Fe Springs, California.\nIn this hands-on leadership role, you will supervise maintenance and janitorial team members while supporting the reliability, safety, and performance of facility systems, automation equipment, conveyors, sortation systems, and material handling equipment. You will also oversee preventive maintenance activities, contractors and vendors, facility projects, and MRO inventory in a fast-paced, 24/7 distribution environment.\nShift: Sunday - Thursday; 7pm Start Time\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead, coach, and develop maintenance and janitorial team members while coordinating daily work priorities.\nOversee preventive and corrective maintenance for facility systems, conveyors, sortation equipment, material handling equipment, and industrial automation.\nSupport troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, PLC-controlled, and building systems.\nCoordinate maintenance schedules and work orders to improve equipment reliability and minimize operational disruptions.\nEnsure facility activities meet applicable OSHA, FDA, DEA, DOT, safety, and regulatory requirements.\nManage contractors and vendors supporting facility maintenance, repairs, projects, and services.\nSupport facility inspections, audits, security systems, and preventive maintenance programs.\nManage MRO parts and inventory, maintenance resources, and assigned budgets.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance.\nBasic Requirements\n3+ years of relevant facilities, maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, or distribution operations experience, including demonstrated leadership capabilities.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience leading frontline maintenance or facilities employees in a distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, or other high-volume operational environment.\nExperience supporting automated material handling systems, conveyors, and sortation equipment.\nKnowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and warehouse or industrial automation systems.\nExperience with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building systems.\nExperience with preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).\nExperience managing contractors, vendors, facility projects, and MRO inventory.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, project management, and continuous improvement skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nOn-site position at the Santa Fe Springs, CA distribution center.\nAbility to support a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as business needs require.\nAbility to work in an industrial distribution center environment.\nAbility to lift up to 100 pounds.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
