This role oversees inventory management activities, supports operational performance, and helps maintain a safe, productive work environment during the night shift.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, cycle counting, and team leadership.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead and support the overnight Inventory Control & Solutions team\nMonitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy investigations\nIdentify and resolve inventory issues to maintain operational efficiency\nAssign work and manage team workloads to meet daily objectives\nTrain, coach, and develop employees to improve performance and engagement\nUtilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor inventory and operational activity\nReview inventory reports and analyze trends to identify improvement opportunities\nPartner with shipping, receiving, operations, and customer service teams to resolve issues\nEnsure compliance with safety policies, operational procedures, and quality standards\nConduct performance discussions and provide ongoing coaching and feedback\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that improve accuracy, productivity, and service\nPrepare shift reports and communicate key updates to leadership and business partners\nBasic Requirements\nTypically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n 1+ year of leadership experience as a supervisor, lead, or team leader\nExperience with inventory control processes, cycle counting, audits, and discrepancy resolution\nExperience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift\nAbility to work a consistent 12:00 AM - 9:30 AM schedule\nPreferred Skills / Experience\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field\nExperience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated distribution environments\nExperience leading inventory control, quality, or operational improvement initiatives\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExperience reviewing operational metrics and inventory performance reports\nExperience training, coaching, and developing employees\nKnowledge of warehouse best practices and inventory management principles\nWork Environment\nOn-site role in a fast-paced distribution center\nOvernight schedule: 12:00 AM - 9:30 AM\nFrequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the facility\nCollaborative environment supporting warehouse, inventory, and customer service operations\nOvertime, weekends, and holiday coverage may be required based on business needs\nSafety-focused environment with an emphasis on inventory accuracy and operational excellence\nWhy Join Us?\nLead a team that plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and customer service\nOpportunity to develop leadership skills and advance within operations management\nWork in a stable healthcare supply chain environment\nCollaborative culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement\nMake a direct impact on distribution center performance and customer satisfaction\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
