From training to problem solving to maintaining equipment, your work will help save lives.\nSchedule: Sunday-Thursday\nTarget Compensation: $60-65K (depending on individual experience)\nSpecifically, we need you to:\nhelp plan and direct operations\nkeep morale and work standards high\ntrain and manage your team\ncontrol expenses\ncontrol employee turnover and overtime hours\nmake sure equipment and housekeeping are exceptional\nAlong with the responsibilities you’ll be given at McKesson Pharmaceutical, we’ll also encourage you to make the most of our training and development. You’ll help us work to solve our nation’s healthcare challenges and decrease costs so that everyone can afford the care they need.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist Operations Manager with planning, organizing and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful night shift operations.\nAssist with leading workers and Lead persons. \nAssist with maintaining a positive morale, work standards and developing teams.\nAssist with training and managing employee performance\nAssertively seek solutions to problems at the root level.\nEnsure warehouse operations comply with federal, state, and local company policies\nAssist with controlling expenses\nAssist with reducing employee turnover / Assist with reducing overtime working hours\nEnsure warehouse equipment and vehicles are well maintained and that housekeeping meets company standards.\nMinimum Requirements\nTypically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.\nEducation\n4 year degree preferred\nCritical Skills\n3+ years Distribution Center experience (large size)\nExperience managing, leading and developing staff\nTechnical ability: Excel, MS Office products\nExcellent and effective business communication skills both verbally and in writing\nAbility to multi task in a fast paced environment and make strong business decisions\nDemonstrated employee engagement skills\nMust be open to flexible night hours, Sunday through Thursday with typical start time of 5PM; must also be open to adjusting shift and overtime as needed based on business requirements\nAdditional Knowledge & Skills\nIndustry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment preferred\nSkilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline and record keeping\nExperience with DEA regulations a plus\nWMS experience preferred\nMS Access proficiency and ability to interpret and analyze data\nPhysical Requirements\nHigh energy distribution center environment\nMay be required to work various shifts, including nights and days.\nSome overtime required\nCareer Level\nManager-M1\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
