From training to problem-solving to maintaining equipment, your work will help save lives.\nSpecifically, we'll need you to: Assist in planning and directing operations\nMaintain high morale and work standards\nTrain and manage your team\nManage expenses according to budget\nManage employee retention\nMinimize overtime hours\nMaintain exceptional housekeeping and equipment standards\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist with planning, organizing, and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful night shift operations.\nAssess and move labor as needed throughout the day\nAssist with maintaining a positive morale, work standards, and developing teams.\nAssist with training and managing employee performance.\nAssist with reducing employee turnover / Assist with reducing overtime working hours.\nComplete end of shift systemic requirements\nClear communication to all relevant partners when daily expectations are not met\nDirect all Bulk team members on assignments in order of picking priorities.\nMonitor and supervise Replenishment drivers and tasks.\nSecure the building on Friday evening, including setting the alarm system.\nMonthly Safety observations\nMaintain a clean & safe work environment.\nDaily review of teams LMS productivity, including posting results & coaching as needed.\nCommunication with others both internally/externally via e-mail & phone\nSetting clear expectations with the team and holding them accountable.\nJob Qualifications:\n3+ years of subject matter experience, including exhibiting leadership capabilities.\nEducation:\nHS Diploma or equivalent preferred.\nCritical Skills:\nExperience managing, leading, and developing staff.\nComputer proficiency in MS Office\nExcellent and effective business communication skills both verbal and in writing\nIndustry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.\nSkilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline, and record keeping.\nFocus on driving quality and process improvement.\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment and make strong business decisions.\nDemonstrated employee engagement skills.\nExtremely dependable and capable of working in a temperature-controlled environment\nAdditional Preferred Skills:\nWarehouse management systems experience preferred; experience in RF environment is a plus; experience with labor management system is a plus, and PowerBi\nExperience leading large teams.\nAbility to effectively interpret and analyze data to drive productivity.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
