If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nJob Summary\nThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient movement of customer products throughout the facility. This position oversees personnel, workflow execution, inventory control, quality compliance, and service performance across receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management functions. The supervisor plays a critical leadership role in supporting temperature-controlled Plasma Operations, ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance while driving a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperational Leadership\nDirect and supervise daily warehouse operations and assigned personnel.\nPlan and prioritize work to meet productivity, quality, inventory, and customer service objectives.\nMonitor workflow, staffing levels, and operational performance throughout the shift.\nEnsure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate cross-functional activities with Quality, Inventory Control, Transportation, Maintenance, and Customer Service teams.\nLead shift startup meetings, communication huddles, and end-of-shift reviews.\nPlasma Operations\nOversee the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of blood plasma and plasma-derived products.\nEnsure compliance with all customer requirements, GMP, GDP, FDA, OSHA, and applicable regulatory standards.\nMaintain chain of custody, product traceability, and temperature control requirements.\nInvestigate and respond appropriately to product variances, quality events, temperature excursions, and inventory discrepancies.\nEnsure proper handling and documentation of temperature-sensitive biological products.\nPartner with Quality personnel to maintain audit readiness and regulatory compliance.\nSafety & Compliance\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.\nConduct safety observations, investigations, and corrective actions as needed.\nEnsure associates complete required certifications and annual training.\nEnforce PPE requirements, bloodborne pathogen precautions, and hazardous material handling procedures.\nLead emergency response efforts for spills, incidents, and environmental or safety concerns.\nTeam Leadership & Development\nSupervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates and team leads.\nConduct performance reviews, coaching discussions, and corrective action as required.\nSupport hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development efforts.\nFoster a positive, accountable, and high-performance work environment.\nIdentify and develop future leaders within the organization.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience.\n3+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain operations.\nExperience leading teams in a regulated environment preferred.\nStrong knowledge of inventory management, material handling, and warehouse operations.\nAbility to analyze operational data and use metrics to drive performance.\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF technology, and Microsoft Office applications.\nSchedule:\nCurrent schedules consist of four 10-hour shifts:Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM start, or\nWednesday - Saturday, 7:00 AM start\n\nSchedule and shift assignment are subject to change based on business needs.\nWorking Conditions:\nRegular work in freezer and ultra-low temperature environments ranging from -20°C to -30°C.\nExposure to temperature-sensitive biologic products and materials requiring specialized handling procedures.\nAbility to wear required cold-weather gear and personal protective equipment for extended periods while performing essential job functions.\nThis position serves as a frontline leader responsible for storage, movement, and distribution of temperature-sensitive blood plasma and biologic products.
