If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nOperations Supervisor - Night Shift\nShift: 4:30 PM start Sunday and 5:00 PM Monday - Thursday.\nAbout the Role\nAs an Operations Supervisor - Night Shift, you’ll lead day-to-day warehouse operations within a fast-paced distribution center while developing an engaged, high-performing team. You’ll help ensure products move safely, accurately, and efficiently through the facility while supporting the service our customers rely on.\nThis frontline leadership role is responsible for directing employees, monitoring operational performance, solving problems, and helping the night shift achieve safety, quality, productivity, and service goals.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and provide daily work direction to warehouse employees and lead personnel during night shift operations.\nPlan, organize, and coordinate warehouse activities in partnership with the Operations Manager.\nCoach, train, develop, and support employees while reinforcing performance expectations and workplace standards.\nInterview, hire, onboard, and develop team members.\nMonitor workflow, establish priorities, resolve operational issues, and adjust resources to meet business needs.\nAnalyze operational data and changing conditions to make timely decisions and improve performance.\nIdentify root causes of operational challenges and implement practical solutions.\nPromote employee engagement, accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.\nSupport efforts to manage labor, overtime, employee retention, and operating expenses.\nEnsure warehouse operations follow applicable company policies and federal, state, and local requirements.\nHelp ensure warehouse equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and housekeeping standards are met.\nPartner with operations leadership to continuously improve safety, quality, productivity, and service.\nBasic Requirements\n3+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated leadership capabilities.\nExperience leading, coaching, or developing employees in a work environment.\nAbility to work the designated night shift and adjust hours or work overtime based on business needs.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.\nPrevious leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing.\nExperience in a high-volume distribution center or similar operational environment.\nWarehouse Management System (WMS) experience.\nExperience interviewing, onboarding, coaching, evaluating, and developing employees.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience using operational data and performance metrics to make decisions.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience supporting employee engagement, continuous improvement, and operational performance.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nWork is performed in a high-energy distribution center environment.\nRegular onsite presence is required to support night shift operations.\nSchedule flexibility and overtime may be required based on business needs.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
