If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nWhat You’ll Do (Responsibilities)\nProcess prescription orders and ensure accuracy in medication dispensing.\nSupport pharmacists in medication therapy management and patient counseling.\nMaintain proper documentation and comply with regulatory guidelines.\nAssist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications.\nRespond to patient and provider inquiries professionally and efficiently.\nCollaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.\nEnsure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy best practices.\nBasic Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nCurrent Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or state license as required.\nMinimum of 1 year experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting.\nProficiency in pharmacy software and prescription processing systems.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and customer service abilities.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nAssociate degree in pharmacy technology or related field.\nExperience with clinical pharmacy services or medication therapy management.\nFamiliarity with electronic health records (EHR) and data entry.\nBilingual skills are a plus.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.\nDescription of Travel or In-Office and Physical Requirements\nThis position is primarily in-office with minimal travel required. You will be working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, which may require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks such as data entry and medication handling. Safety protocols and ergonomic practices are followed to ensure a comfortable workspace.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson.
