In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, regulated pharmacy environment preparing, packaging, and distributing medications using advanced pharmacy automation and barcode-driven systems.\nAs a Prescription Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring medication accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with pharmacy regulations while contributing to McKesson’s mission of improving healthcare outcomes for patients nationwide.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare, package, and distribute prescription medications using automated pharmacy systems\n\nAccurately fill and verify prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy and regulatory standards\n\nStock automated dispensing cells and manage inventory using barcode scanning technology\n\nMaintain strict compliance with HIPAA, pharmacy laws, and internal safety protocols\n\nMonitor prescription accuracy to support patient safety and quality standards\n\nSupport daily production and fulfillment goals in a high-volume central fill environment\n\nCollaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time order delivery\n\nShift Schedule & Pay:\n1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-7:30 PM + every 3rd Saturday, 12:00 PM-8:30 PM | $18.95/hour\nBasic Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\nActive Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or Indiana Pharmacy Technician In-Training License\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare operations, or a related regulated environment\n\nPreferred Skills / Experience:\nPTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) Certification\n\n1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in retail, central fill, mail order, or hospital pharmacy\n\nExperience working in automated, high-volume pharmacy or healthcare logistics environments\n\nStrong computer skills, including pharmacy systems or inventory management software\n\nPrior experience with barcode scanning, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations\n\nWork Environment, Physical & In-Office Requirements:\nOn-site role in a centralized pharmacy fulfillment facility\n\nAbility to stand and walk for up to 8+ hours per shift\n\nAbility to lift up to 30 pounds\n\nFrequent bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive motion required\n\nFast-paced, production-driven healthcare environment\n\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
