If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead architecture review board reviews and provide architectural guidance for enterprise technology initiatives.\n\nPartner with application, infrastructure, security, cloud, and operations teams to evaluate solution designs and technology decisions.\n\nIdentify architectural, operational, security, and supportability risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.\n\nConsult with project teams throughout the solution lifecycle, from initial design through implementation and operational transition.\n\nDevelop and maintain technology standards, architectural patterns, and governance processes.\n\nEvaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on adoption and enterprise fit.\n\nReview proposed architectures for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise objectives.\n\nBuild strong partnerships with technical and business stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor on technology decisions.\n\nPrepare and present architectural recommendations, readiness assessments, and governance findings to leadership and governance forums.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n\n10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, engineering, infrastructure, or related technology roles.\n\nExperience leading architecture reviews and guiding technical decision-making across diverse technology domains.\n\nStrong understanding of application architecture, cloud platforms, integrations, security, infrastructure, and operational support models.\n\nExperience working directly with delivery teams, engineering teams, and technology leadership.\n\nDemonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive consensus across technical and business stakeholders.\n\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.\n\nAbility to balance governance requirements with practical delivery needs.\n\nDemonstrated hands-on experience with emerging AI technologies and ability to apply them to real-world challenges\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience participating in or leading architecture review boards or similar governance processes.\n\nExperience supporting production readiness, operational readiness, deployment governance, or service transition activities.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, enterprise integrations, and observability/monitoring solutions.\n\nExperience in large, complex enterprise environments, especially healthcare or medical distribution\n\nExperience with large-scale distribution, supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce platforms.\n\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, IaC/Terraform\n\nKnowledge of IT operational processes including incident, change, problem, and service management.\n\nExperience creating technology standards, reference architectures, and architectural guidance.\n\nExperience working within regulated or highly governed environments.\n\nAbout McKesson Medical-Surgical\nMcKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation.
