If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nThe Senior Associate Collections Lead is responsible for managing escalated accounts receivable issues, driving resolution of high-risk balances, and supporting AR to cash conversion for high value accounts. This role is critical in driving proactive collection strategies, reducing aging balances, and minimizing bad debt exposure. The ideal candidate will be analytical, persistent, and skilled in high-risk account management and escalation processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nResolve Escalated Accounts: Serve as the primary point of contact for second tier escalations, focusing on high-risk, aged, or disputed receivables.\n Drive Resolution Strategies: Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Legal, Customer Service) to resolve payment delays, disputes, and non-responsiveness.\nEnhanced Collection Activities: Execute targeted outreach and follow-up on overdue accounts, including final demand letters and pre-collections actions.\nSkip Trace Research: Perform advanced research to locate and engage customers with unreachable or outdated contact information.\nReporting & Analysis: Monitor aging reports, track escalation outcomes, and provide insights to improve collections performance and reduce bad debt.\nProcess Improvement: Identify trends and recommend process enhancements to streamline escalation handling and improve recovery rates.\nMinimum Qualifications\nMinimum 2 years of experience in corporate collections, accounts receivable, or escalation management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.\nBachelor’s degree in a related field (business, accounting, finance) OR equivalent work experience.\nCritical Knowledge/Skills\nTechnical Skills:\nAdvanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, large datasets)\nSAP and Salesforce proficiency\nAnalytical & Operational Skills:\nComplex account reconciliation\nSkip tracing and investigative research\nCommunication & Interpersonal:\nExecutive-level communication\nCustomer service in high-pressure scenarios\nProven ability to resolve 2nd tier escalation requests and reduce past due risk.\nAbility to perform complex reconciliations.\nSAP and Salesforce experience.\nExperience communicating with high level executives and customers.\nAttention to detail and demonstration of quick follow-up to study needs, commits to quality\nAdept in handling complex collections activity with a high level of customer service\nWorking Environment\nLocation: Fully remote (or mostly remote if near a McKesson hub office)\nWorking hours: 10-7p CT/8-5p PT\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
