In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Azure, and modern AI-assisted engineering tools.\nWorking closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams, you will play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and highly reliable software solutions that support critical pharmacy operations using an AI-native SDLC methodology. This is a hands-on engineering position that combines application development, technical leadership, cloud-native architecture, and AI-enabled software engineering practices.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.\nBuild and maintain REST APIs and microservices using modern architecture principles and OpenAPI/Swagger standards.\nLeverage approved AI development tools, including GitHub Copilot and Claude, to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing coverage and efficiency\nEvaluate AI-generated code for security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and functional accuracy.\nDevelop user interfaces and administrative tools that support business workflows and operational efficiency.\nCreate scalable, event-driven solutions using technologies such as Kafka and distributed messaging platforms.\nArchitect and optimize core AI agent orchestration layer and runtime harness to handle complex, multi-step task execution, model routing\nEnsure end-to-end quality across user interfaces, APIs, databases, integrations, and event-driven services.\nImplement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous delivery best practices.\nUtilize observability and monitoring tools to improve application reliability and production support.\nParticipate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.\nMentor engineers through knowledge sharing, design collaboration, and engineering best practices.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.\nBasic Requirements\nMinimum Education & Typical Experience or Equivalent Combination\nDegree or equivalent experience and typically requires 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n7+ years of software development experience.\nHands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.\nExperience developing web applications using Angular, React, Vue, Next.js, or similar JavaScript frameworks.\nRobust experience designing low-latency agent execution looks that natively manage multi-step tool execution (harness, orchestrator concepts)\nStrong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including PostgreSQL.\nExperience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka.\nExperience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.\nExperience developing and executing automated tests.\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native application development.\nExperience with Docker and containerized deployments.\nExperience using ORM technologies such as Hibernate or JPA.\nFamiliarity with Redis or other caching technologies.\nExperience with feature management tools such as LaunchDarkly or Optimizely.\nExperience with database migration tools such as Liquibase or Flyway.\nExperience with observability and monitoring tools, including Dynatrace.\nExperience working with distributed tracing, metrics, and structured logging.\nPrevious experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or highly regulated industries.\nWork Arrangement\nThis is a hybrid position. The selected candidate will work onsite at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely.
