If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nThe Sr. Manager, Technology Finance serves as a strategic finance business partner supporting the Enterprise Applications Service area across four service categories. This role leads financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business decision support while partnering closely with Technology and Finance leaders.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide end-to-end FP&A support for the Enterprise Applications Service area across four service categories, covering operating expenses, capital investments, initiatives, and service costs. \nLead annual operating plan development, periodic forecasting cycles, month-end close analysis, and long-range planning activities in partnership with Technology and Finance stakeholders. \nOwn consolidated financial reporting and business performance reviews, clearly articulating key drivers, variances, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. \nServe as a trusted finance advisor to Service Category leaders by providing financial guidance, decision support, and constructive challenge regarding resource allocation and investment decisions. \nMonitor financial and operational trends, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy and financial performance. \nSupport the Enterprise Applications cost allocation strategy, including cost transparency, allocation methodologies, planning assumptions, and business-unit impacts. \nPartner with initiative and portfolio management teams to evaluate investments, track financial performance, and strengthen governance and reporting for technology initiatives. \nDevelop executive-level presentations and communicate financial insights, recommendations, and trade-offs to senior Technology and Finance leadership. \nDrive consistency in reporting, planning, and variance analysis practices across service categories and the broader McKesson Technology Finance organization. \nLead process improvement and automation initiatives that simplify recurring activities, strengthen financial controls, and improve reporting quality and timeliness. \nCoach and develop team members while fostering a high-performing, collaborative FP&A culture. \nMinimum Requirements\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. \n8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, accounting, or a related discipline. \nPreferred Qualifications\nMBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced credential. \nExperience supporting Technology organizations, digital transformation initiatives, or enterprise application portfolios. \nFamiliarity with service-based financial management, technology cost transparency frameworks, and investment portfolio governance. \nExperience leading complex financial workstreams and partnering with senior business leaders. \nPrior people leadership experience or significant team leadership responsibilities preferred. \nCritical Skills & Qualifications\nStrong FP&A experience supporting Technology, shared services, enterprise functions, or other complex cost-center organizations. \nDemonstrated expertise in planning, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis, and executive decision support. \nProven ability to influence stakeholders and drive business outcomes without direct authority. \nStrong business acumen with the ability to connect financial results to operational performance and strategic objectives. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, accountability, and timely execution. \nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with experience creating concise, executive-ready financial narratives. \nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including building and maintaining complex financial models and analyzing large datasets. \nExperience with SAP, BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or similar planning and reporting platforms preferred. \nExperience with cost allocation methodologies, service-based financial management, portfolio management, or technology investment governance preferred. \nExperience leading process standardization, automation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred. \nLeadership Competencies\nResults orientation and accountability \nStrategic thinking and financial acumen \nAnalytical problem-solving \nExecutive presence and communication \nCollaboration and cross-functional influence \nPeople leadership, coaching, and talent development \nStrong judgment and decision-making \nIntellectual curiosity and continuous improvement mindset \nWorking Conditions\nHybrid work environment with in-office presence based on business and team needs. \nRequires collaboration across Finance, Technology, Portfolio Management, and Business Unit stakeholders. \nAbility to effectively manage competing priorities and support multiple leaders in a dynamic environment. \nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
