This leader will drive project management maturity, business alignment, software delivery planning, and continuous improvement while partnering with technology, business, and vendor stakeholders.\nThe ideal candidate brings expertise in Project management, Planview portfolio management, software roadmap development, change management, and process improvement. This role is responsible for enabling scalable, reliable services that support business outcomes and strategic priorities.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead enterprise project management CoE strategies, roadmaps, and operational improvement initiatives.\n\nOversee service performance, governance, KPIs, SLAs, risk management, and executive reporting.\n\nDevelop and maintain software roadmaps, portfolio plans, deployment strategies, and investment priorities.\n\nProvide expert leadership in Planview portfolio and resource management processes.\n\nPartner with business, technology, and vendor teams to align service delivery with organizational objectives.\n\nDrive change management initiatives that support adoption, operational readiness, and sustainable outcomes.\n\nLead process improvement efforts using data-driven analysis to increase efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.\n\nCoach and develop leaders and teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\n\nBasic Requirements:\n9+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management, Software Delivery, or related technology leadership roles.\n\n1+ years of experience managing multiple teams with independent roadmaps and objectives.\n\nExperience with developing enterprise IT project management standards, governance, KPIs, and SLAs.\n\nExpert-level proficiency with Planview for portfolio, resource, and strategic planning management.\n\nKnowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and Agile methodologies.\n\nExperience developing and executing software roadmaps, deployment plans, and strategic technology initiatives.\n\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.\n\nBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.\n\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\nExperience with enterprise portfolio management, PMO, or digital transformation programs.\n\nFamiliarity with organizational Change Management principles and adoption frameworks.\n\nStrong background in process improvement, operational excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.\n\nExperience managing large-scale service improvement programs and enterprise governance models.\n\nExposure to regulated environments and compliance-driven service operations.\n\nExperience overseeing vendor relationships, technology investments, and budget planning.\n\nAdvanced executive communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nRelevant certifications such as PMP, RTE, SPC, Lean Six Sigma, or Planview certifications.\n\nTravel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements:\nTravel up to 10% as business needs require.\n\nPosition may be performed in a hybrid or office-based environment based on business requirements.\n\nAbility to participate in virtual and in-person meetings and use standard business technology tools.\n\nAt McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
