If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nSenior Warehouse Management System Analyst\nRichmond, VA, USA - 9954 Mayland Drive\nRemote or hybrid available\nEligible for benefits (dental, health), 401K, PTO and a management incentive program of 15%\nPosition Overview\nThe Sr. WMS (Warehouse Management System) Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for McKesson’s Warehouse Management Systems within the MMS Supply Chain Technology organization. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting WMS solutions that enable efficient, compliant, and scalable distribution operations. The analyst will lead and participate in cloud-based WMS implementations, ensure seamless systems integration, and configure/customize WMS applications to meet evolving business needs. The analyst will lead and participate in the ERP advanced warehousing module to ensure stable and efficient warehouse processing.\n Key Responsibilities:\nLead and support end-to-end WMS implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.\n\nConfigure and customize WMS applications to align with McKesson’s operational workflows, compliance standards, and performance goals.\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, IT, Operations) to ensure WMS solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.\n\nDesign and manage integration between WMS and ERP, TMS, and other enterprise systems, leveraging APIs, middleware, and data exchange protocols.\n\nProvide production support for WMS applications, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams.\n\nDevelop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and integration points.\n\nMonitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.\n\nStay current on WMS technology trends, especially cloud-based platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active, SAP EWM).\n\nEnsure adherence to McKesson’s security, data privacy, and SOX compliance requirements.\n\nManage projects and deliver results in a complex, matrixed environment.\n\nDesign, Configure, test and maintain Advanced Warehousing processes including inbound receiving, putaway, picking, packing, replenishment, cycle counting, and outbound shipping.\n\nInvestigate and resolve warehouse-related production issues, including inventory discrepancies, transaction failures, and performance issues.\nMinimum Requirements\nDegree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.\n\nCritical Skills\n7+ years of experience in WMS implementation and support\n\nPrior experience with cloud-based WMS platforms (like Manhattan Active)\n\nStrong background in systems integration, including APIs, EDI, and middleware solutions\n\nProven expertise in configuring and customizing WMS applications to meet business requirements\n\nJDE E1 Advanced warehousing functional experience is required\n\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively across global teams\n\nAbility to function in an ever changing environment with competing priorities\n\nAdditional Knowledge & Skills\nExpertise in warehouse operations and supply chain processes\n\nFamiliarity with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis\n\nExperience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies preferred\n\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field And/or equivalent experience.\n\nAbout MMS\nMcKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation.
