This role will work across backend services, integrations, production support, and ongoing feature development.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs\nSupport integrations across enterprise applications and data services\nTroubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis\nImprove application performance, reliability, and scalability\nSupport deployments, testing, and release activities\nDeliver enhancements from requirements through production\nMaintain technical documentation and operational runbooks\nPartner with product, architecture, and business teams on solution design\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field\n4+ years of software engineering experience\nStrong backend development and object-oriented programming skills\nExperience with microservices and REST APIs\nExperience with cloud-based enterprise applications\nStrong SQL and relational database skills\nProduction troubleshooting and application support experience\nFamiliarity with CI/CD, source control, monitoring, and logging\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline\nExperience with distributed systems and high-volume applications\nExperience integrating with enterprise ERP, CRM, or transactional systems\nExperience supporting business-critical or pricing-related applications\nFamiliarity with performance tuning, resiliency, and production operations\nAbout MMS\nMcKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation.
