If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDefine architecture direction, solution roadmaps, standards, and design guardrails for SAP serialization and traceability solutions.\nLead fit-gap assessments across SAP ATTP, SAP S/4HANA, supply chain systems, serialization repositories, and partner integrations.\nDesign end-to-end serialization, aggregation, commissioning, decommissioning, and EPCIS data exchange workflows.\nSupport DSCSA, FDA serialization mandates, and GS1 standards including GTIN, EPCIS, product identifiers, and traceability requirement.\nPartner with engineering and business teams to evaluate options, document architecture decisions, and guide implementation.\nEnsure solutions meet expectations for scalability, performance, security, compliance, reliability, and operational support.\nIdentify architecture risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across enterprise and external trading partner ecosystems.\nCommunicate technical trade-offs and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nBasic Requirements\n\n 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, SAP architecture, enterprise application design, or related technology delivery roles.\nExperience with SAP ATTP, pharmaceutical serialization, DSCSA compliance, or regulated supply chain technology.\n\n Experience with SAP ATTP implementations, upgrades, migrations, or global serialization programs.\nKnowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, FDA guidance, DSCSA interoperability, and serialization mandates.\nHands-on knowledge of serialization and aggregation workflows across pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution, or logistics.\nExperience integrating SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC with supply chain, warehouse, order management, or compliance platforms.\nUnderstanding of GS1 standards, including GTIN, EPCIS, product identifiers, and traceability data exchange.\nExperience leading architecture assessments, solution design, roadmaps, or fit-gap analysis for enterprise-scale initiatives.\nAbility to document architecture decisions and explain complex technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience with APIs, event-driven integration, middleware, B2B/EDI, EPCIS messaging, or cloud integration platforms.\nFamiliarity with architecture frameworks, governance, reference architecture, security-by-design, or well-architected practices.\nExperience collaborating with product, compliance, quality, operations, security, and external trading partner teams.\nAbility to influence architecture standards and coach engineers or solution teams through complex design decisions.\nDescription of Travel or In-Office and Physical Requirement\nWork arrangement may be hybrid, or office-based depending on business and team needs.\nOccasional travel may be required for planning sessions, stakeholder meetings, implementation support, or partner engagement.\nAbility to work at a computer for extended periods and collaborate virtually across distributed teams.\nAt McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
