In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, conducting inventory audits and reconciliations, and ensuring materials and products are properly tracked throughout the supply chain. You will play a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by analyzing inventory performance, resolving discrepancies, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring inventory is secure and readily accessible to authorized personnel.\nThis position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP systems such as SAP and AS400.\nShift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM\nWhat You'll Do (Responsibilities)\nMaintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods.\nConduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits, reconciling results with system records.\nVerify quantities and documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.\nAnalyze inventory throughout the product lifecycle to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.\nInvestigate and resolve inventory variances while maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy.\nEnsure inventory and materials are properly identified, secured, documented, and accessible to authorized personnel.\nMaintain accurate inventory documentation and compliance records.\nPrepare inventory reports, metrics, and findings for leadership as needed.\nCollaborate with warehouse, operations, transportation, and supplier partners to support inventory management objectives.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control processes and warehouse operations.\nBasic Requirements\nTypically requires 3+ years of related experience\nExperience conducting physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.\nExperience using SAP, AS400, or similar inventory/ERP systems.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule as required to meet business needs.\nMHE certified, or willing to obtain certification\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience operating powered industrial equipment\nExperience working in high-volume distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments.\nKnowledge of inventory auditing practices and inventory control best practices.\nExperience generating inventory reports and performance metrics.\nFamiliarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).\nAbility to analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.\nTravel Requirements\nMinimal travel required.\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nCombination of warehouse and office environment.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs. consistent with warehouse operations.\nAbility to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.\nAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow all safety procedures.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
