In this role, you will perform a variety of custodial and facility maintenance duties, including floor care, restroom sanitation, waste removal, battery area upkeep, and general housekeeping throughout warehouse and office spaces.\nThis position is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating a safe and clean workplace, have experience operating cleaning equipment, and are comfortable working in an industrial environment.\nWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:45pm\nWhat You'll Do (Responsibilities)\nMaintain cleanliness throughout warehouse, distribution center, office, and common areas.\nPerform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, waxing, and buffing floors.\nClean and restock restrooms, break rooms, and other employee areas.\nRemove trash, recycling, and other waste materials in accordance with facility procedures.\nMaintain industrial battery charging areas, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.\nOperate custodial and floor-care equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and other powered cleaning equipment.\nClean furniture, fixtures, walls, equipment, and other facility surfaces.\nIdentify and report maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns.\nFollow all company safety policies and housekeeping standards.\nBasic Requirements\nTypically requires 1+ years of related experience\nExperience operating powered cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, or similar machinery.\nAbility to work independently and follow established cleaning and safety procedures.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience working in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or industrial environment.\nKnowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, waxing, and polishing.\nFamiliarity with industrial battery charging or battery maintenance areas.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and maintain cleaning schedules in a fast-paced environment.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to safely operate custodial and powered cleaning equipment.\nComfortable working in warehouse and industrial environments.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
