This role serves as a strategic technical leader responsible for building resilient, scalable, and secure network architectures that support business growth, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate brings deep expertisein network security architecture, Zero Trust principles, firewalltechnologies, and enterprise networking. You will partner closely with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Enterprise Architecture teams to strengthen McKesson's security posture while enabling reliable connectivity across hybrid environments.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and implement secure enterprise network architectures across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.\n\nDevelop and lead Zero Trust Architecture initiatives, including network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies.\n\nConduct security architecture reviews and provide recommendations that reduce risk and strengthen resilience.\n\nEngineer and optimizefirewalland perimeter security solutions, including Palo Alto technologies.\n\nSupport secure connectivity through Zscaler, HPE Aruba EdgeConnect, Secure Internet Gateway, and web proxy solutions.\n\nDesign and govern secure remote access solutions leveraging ZTNA, VPN, and Network Access Control (NAC).\n\nMonitor, analyze, and improve network security through IDS/IPS technologies, traffic analysis, and security analytics platforms.\n\nLead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts for complex network and security incidents.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n7+ years of professional experience in network engineering, network security, or security architecture roles.\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.\n\nExperience designing and implementing enterprise network security architectures.\n\nExpertisewith Palo Alto firewalls, policy management, and security controls.\n\nExperience with Zero Trust Architecture, network segmentation, and secure network design.\n\nStrong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking technologies.\n\nExperience with VPN technologies, ZTNA, NAC, or secure remote access solutions.\n\nExperience supporting security monitoring tools including IDS/IPS, network traffic analysis, or security analytics platforms.\n\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with Zscaler, HPE Aruba EdgeConnect, SASE, or Secure Internet Gateway technologies.\n\nExperience securing hybrid cloud environments.\n\nKnowledge of regulatory, compliance, and risk management frameworks.\n\nExperience with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, or infrastructure-as-code solutions.\n\nExperience conducting security architecture reviews and risk assessments.\n\nExposure to large-scale global enterprise environments.\n\nIndustry certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent.\n\nExperience collaborating with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity leadership teams.\n\nTravel, Work Location & Physical Requirements\nLimited travel may be requiredbased on business needs.\n\nThis role may be remote, hybrid, or office-based depending on business requirements.\n\nAbility to participatein extended periods of computer-based work and virtual collaboration sessions.\n\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
