If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nAbout the Role\nMcKesson is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect, Core Finance to lead enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives supporting General Ledger, Treasury, and core finance capabilities. This role combines deep business process expertise, solution architecture leadership, and transformation experience to design and deliver scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions that drive measurable business value.\nAs a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, you will translate complex business requirements into strategic architecture roadmaps, develop data-driven business cases, and lead large-scale modernization efforts. You will partner across finance, technology, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions that support McKesson's long-term growth and transformation objectives.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead architecture strategy, roadmap development, and solution design for SAP S/4HANA Finance, General Ledger, Treasury, and related finance processes.\nServe as the architecture lead for large-scale finance transformation and ERP modernization programs.\nConduct current-state assessments, fit-gap analyses, and future-state architecture planning.\nDevelop and validate business cases, value realization models, ROI analyses, and transformation strategies.\nDesign end-to-end solutions integrating SAP S/4HANA Finance with SAP MM, SAP SD, and enterprise platforms.\nProvide leadership across architecture governance, solution reviews, standards, and implementation oversight.\nPartner with business stakeholders, system integrators, and technology teams to align process, data, and technology strategies.\nCommunicate architectural decisions, risks, and recommendations to executive and non-technical audiences.\nBasic Requirements\n10+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, SAP finance technology, or related enterprise systems leadership roles.\n7+ years of experience supporting Finance business processes including General Ledger, Treasury, Cash Management, Financial Close, and Record-to-Report.\n5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.\nExperience integrating SAP Finance solutions with SAP MM and SAP SD modules.\nDemonstrated experience leading large-scale finance, ERP, or digital transformation programs.\nProven experience developing business cases, financial analyses, investment justifications, and executive recommendations.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience in management consulting, business process consulting, finance transformation consulting, or strategy consulting.\nSAP Finance configuration knowledge including General Ledger, Treasury, Cash Management, and related finance capabilities.\nExperience defining enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, and target-state roadmaps.\nKnowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and data management practices.\nExperience operating within regulated, highly complex, or global business environments.\nFamiliarity with TOGAF, enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.\nExperience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large organizational transformation initiatives.\nStrong executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership capabilities.\nTravel, Work Environment & Physical Requirements\nAbility to travel up to 20% as business needs require.\nHybrid work arrangement may be required based on business and team needs.\nAbility to participate in extended virtual and in-person meetings and work effectively in a technology-enabled environment.\nAt McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
