If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nAbout the Role\nMcKesson is seeking a Sr Systems Administrator - Radiation/Imaging to lead the strategy, delivery, support, and continuous improvement of critical clinical technology platforms supporting Radiation Oncology operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of oncology applications, including MOSAIQ, ARIA, and Eclipse, while partnering with clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders to deliver business value and exceptional user experiences.\nThe ideal candidate combines healthcare technology expertise, application leadership experience, and strong stakeholder management skills to support mission-critical clinical environments.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the strategy, roadmap, support, and optimization of Radiation Oncology applications, including MOSAIQ, ARIA, and Eclipse. \nManage application lifecycle activities including implementation, upgrades, configuration, maintenance, and performance improvement. \nPartner with clinical, operational, and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable application solutions. \nEnsure application availability, reliability, security, and compliance within a regulated healthcare environment. \nOversee production support, incident management, problem resolution, and service improvement initiatives. \nProvide leadership for application delivery teams, vendors, and external partners. \nDrive continuous improvement through operational metrics, governance standards, and best practices. \nCommunicate platform performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders. \nBasic Requirements\n7+ years of experience supporting, administering, implementing, or managing enterprise healthcare applications, clinical systems, or healthcare technology platforms. \nHands-on experience with Radiation Oncology applications including MOSAIQ, ARIA, and/or Eclipse. \nExperience configuring, building, maintaining, and supporting application environments in a healthcare setting. \nKnowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Citrix infrastructure. \nExperience leading application support, implementation, upgrade, or operational delivery initiatives. \nExperience working with business stakeholders, clinical users, vendors, and technology teams. \nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. \nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience supporting Radiation Oncology clinical workflows and oncology care delivery operations. \nKnowledge of healthcare application integration, interfaces, and interoperability standards. \nExperience with IT Service Management (ITSM), change management, and governance processes. \nFamiliarity with cloud technologies, automation, observability, and platform modernization initiatives. \nExperience managing third-party vendors and technology partners. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities. \nExperience leading distributed or cross-functional technology teams. \nHealthcare industry certifications or relevant application certifications. \nTravel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements\nMay require periodic travel for business meetings, technology planning sessions, implementation activities, or vendor engagements. \nPosition may operate in a hybrid, remote, or office-based environment based on business needs. \nAbility to remain stationary for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual meetings. \nAbility to communicate effectively with technical, operational, clinical, and executive stakeholders. \nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
