If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nAbout the Role\nMcKesson is seeking a Sr. Workday Integration Developer to design, build, support, and optimize Workday integrations that help enable scalable, secure, and reliable HR technology solutions. In this role, you will partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver Workday integrations across enterprise systems using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, Report Writer, and Calculated Fields.\nYou will contribute as a senior technical team member by solving complex integration challenges, improving automation, strengthening data quality, and supporting reliable delivery in a regulated enterprise environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors.\nConfigure and maintain Workday Core Connectors across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and related HR processes.\nBuild and troubleshoot REST and SOAP API integrations between Workday and internal or third-party systems.\nCreate and optimize Workday Report Writer reports and Calculated Fields to support integration logic and data needs.\nPartner with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nAnalyze integration errors, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.\nDocument integration designs, data mappings, configuration decisions, and support procedures.\nContribute to Agile delivery, release readiness, peer reviews, and continuous improvement.\nBasic Requirements\n4+ years of professional software development, systems integration, or Workday technical experience.\nHands-on experience developing or supporting Workday integrations.\nExperience with Workday Studio integration development.\nExperience configuring Workday EIB integrations.\nExperience with Workday Core Connectors for HCM, Payroll, Benefits, or related Workday domains.\nExperience developing, consuming, or troubleshooting REST and/or SOAP APIs.\nExperience with Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.\nExperience with XML, XSLT, and JSON.\nExperience with web services, SFTP, authentication methods, and integration security.\nAbility to review technical requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\nExperience supporting Workday integrations in an enterprise, healthcare, regulated, or high-volume environment.\nExperience with Agile delivery, CI/CD practices, version control, testing, and release management.\nExperience with Workday Query Language (WQL), Workday Extend, and Workday Orchestrations.\nFamiliarity with Workday AI Agents.\nAbility to improve integration monitoring, automation, data quality, and operational support practices.\nStrong collaboration, ownership, curiosity, learning agility, and customer-focused problem-solving skills.\nTravel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements\nWork arrangement, travel expectations, and in-office requirements should be confirmed by the hiring team based on business needs.\nThe role is expected to involve standard computer-based work, including participation in meetings, documentation, system analysis, and technical delivery.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
